2 Friends & an Idea

Chris and Jan are two friends who have always had a weakness for innovative ideas and order. What started as a simple hobby basement for tools and a 3D printer quickly became the starting point for something bigger: SOLID X Skadis.

The moment when everything clicked

When setting up their own Skadis board, they noticed that standard accessories often aren't enough when you really want to have every piece at hand. So they combined their strengths: Chris with years of experience in product development and 3D design, Jan with his know-how in 3D printing. What was missing was simply developed by themselves – first for them, then for friends, soon for everyone.

Design Studio & Ideas Workshop

Today, all solutions are created in their private workshop in Cologne. Each part is developed in such a way that it is stable, practical, and precise. Their favorite phrases in this regard? "We need a holder for that. It needs to be more stable. That can be even better." Thus, the catalog grows steadily – the right solution for every requirement.

The 3D Printing Center

Printing is done directly on site: with state-of-the-art 3D printers, sustainable PLA filament, and short distances. The two emphasize that everything remains in their hands – from the first draft to the finished product. This allows them to respond quickly, implement new ideas, and directly involve their community.

The claim is clear: order without compromises. Whether standard holder, clever bundle, or individual custom-made product – those who order from SOLID X Skadis receive solutions that truly fit. Because every home is different and no drawer is as well organized as a board with a system.

Once the add-on is produced, each part is lovingly packaged, checked, and shipped directly from Cologne. This keeps everything transparent, fair, and fast – without detours, without unnecessary storage. Those who order will immediately notice: Here, things are still really made by hand.
